Also in May, warehouse workers employed at LINDE (formerly Praxair) approved a contract with an increase in wages, improvements in holidays and overtime pay, and maintains Health & Welfare.

    TEAMSTERS COMPETE IN THE 2023 NEW MEXICO TRUCK DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS This year there were 25 Teamsters from ABF Freight, Sandia Labs, and Yellow Freight among the 122 drivers that competed in seven different divisions of the championships, from 3 axle to 5 axel trucks and step-van. Congratulations to all of the Teamsters that competed and those who took home a trophy.

    UPS package car drivers have until Monday, June 5, to sign up on the 9.5 list. Being on the list means you have the right to file grievances regarding pay when you are worked beyond 9.5 hours more than twice a week. When UPS violates your 9.5 rights as a driver, the company is required to reduce your workload and pay triple time-instead of time-and-a-half-for time worked in excess of 9.
